Senior Lauren Donaghy Notches 1,000 Career Assists

The Huntington varsity girls’ volleyball team won a four-game thriller at Bellport on Wednesday night to even its record at 3-3 and keep its playoff hopes alive. Senior Lauren Donaghy recorded her 1,000 career assist at Bellport. The teenager had 10 kills, 22 assists, seven digs and two aces to help lift Huntington to a 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18 victory over the Clippers.
