Jefferson Primary Celebrates Its Super Summer Readers!

Jefferson Primary School is proud to celebrate its Super Summer Readers! During a recent schoolwide assembly, students who participated in and completed the optional Huntington Union Free School District summer reading activities were recognized for their dedication to reading and learning throughout the summer.

These Jaguars showed that learning does not stop when the school year ends. By making reading a priority during the summer months, they kept their minds active while discovering new stories, exploring new ideas, and building their reading skills. Their commitment and enthusiasm are truly something to celebrate!

“I am so proud of our students for making reading a priority over the summer,” shared Jefferson Primary Principal Valerie Capitulo-Saide. “Every book they read is another opportunity to grow, explore, and discover something new. We celebrate their dedication and encourage all of our Jaguars to keep reading and learning every day!”

Congratulations to Jefferson’s Super Summer Readers: Anelle, Angela, Aspen, Brithany, Charlotte, Christopher, Daphne, Denzel, Dylan, Gael, Harlow, Harrison, Jaxson, John, Kivrin, Kyra, Magdalena, Matthew, Melanie, Miles, Riley, Ryann, Tara, Yesha, and Zain.

We applaud our Super Summer Readers for their hard work, enthusiasm, and love of reading. Keep turning those pages, Jaguars!
