Jefferson Primary Celebrates Citizens of the Month

Perfectly synced with its Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports plan and goal, Jefferson Primary School recently recognized October’s Jaguar Citizens of the Month.

“These outstanding students were honored with medals and certificates for demonstrating our school’s core values of being safe, responsible, respectful and kind throughout the month of October,” Principal Valerie Capitulo-Saide said.

The honorees included Alisson, Aspen, Benjamin, Bennett, Brodie, Daniela, Denzel, Laureline, Leah, Lucas, Lyric, Roberto, Ryan, Sophie and Yacob “for consistently demonstrating the ‘Jefferson Promise’ and being positive role models in the school community.”

“In addition to celebrating our individual student honorees, Jefferson recognized one exemplary class from each grade level for their outstanding demonstration of safety, responsibility, respect and kindness during lunch and recess,” Ms. Capitulo-Saide said. “These classes received the Golden Spatula Trophy and a certificate in recognition of their efforts.”

October’s Golden Spatula recipients are:

Kindergarten: Samantha Vides

Grade 1: Kara Castelli

Grade 2: Olivia Russell and Emily Bifulco

Grade 3: Camila Filpo

“We are incredibly proud of our students and teachers for making Jefferson Primary a place where the Jaguar Promise shines every day,” Ms. Capitulo-Saide said. “Keep up the great work, Jaguars!”
