The Huntington High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team opened the defense of its county and Long Island titles with lopsided victories over Middle Country (16-1) and Commack(13-2).
The entire roster got into the act in both games, which featured the debut of new co-head coach Megan Marinelli and new volunteer assistant Lauren Schwalje. Chris Taylor returns to the program as the co-head coach with Lauren Blackburn coming back as the assistant coach.
