Career Fair at Huntington High School on Thursday
February 4, 2026
Are you ready to explore career possibilities? Huntington High School will host a Career Fair for students on Thursday from 11:22 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. A promotional flyer for the event exclaims: “Explore. Learn. Dream. Achieve.”
“We are partnering with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office for this event, which is designed to support our students on their post-secondary journey,” Principal Rochelle C. Brown said. “The fair will consist of tables (with potential job opportunities for students), live demonstrations and panelists. Although students will miss instructional time, we are hopeful that this will be beneficial for their long-term goals.”
Spread across periods six, seven and eight, students in every grade in the building will have an opportunity to spend 40 minutes at the fair.
“Discover what’s possible beyond high school,” states a flyer for the event. “The Huntington High School Career Fair connects students with professionals from a wide range of industries to explore career paths, ask questions and gain real-world insights. Through interactive tables, live demonstrations and presentations, students will learn how their interests, skills and education can shape future opportunities. This is a valuable chance to explore careers, build curiosity and begin planning for life after graduation.”
