Finley Student Ambassadors Lead the Way in Building a Community
October 8, 2026
Finley Middle School is proud to participate in the No Place for Hate program, an initiative that encourages students and school communities to stand together to promote respect, inclusion, and belonging.
An important part of Finley’s commitment to this work is the Student Ambassadors homeroom, which provides an opportunity for seventh and eighth grade students to use their voices and leadership skills to make a positive difference in their school community.
Finley’s Student Ambassadors are students who demonstrate strong character, exceptional leadership, and a genuine commitment to helping others. Each morning, Ambassadors deliver the school’s announcements, helping to set a positive and welcoming tone for the day while becoming familiar and trusted voices throughout the school.
Their leadership extends well beyond the morning announcements. Throughout the year, Student Ambassadors will be called upon to collaborate with their peers and staff, share their unique perspectives, and contribute ideas that help strengthen the Finley community. Through their involvement, students have an authentic opportunity to shape their school experience and help advance the goals of the No Place for Hate program.
By empowering students to lead, listen, collaborate, and advocate for a community where everyone feels respected and valued, Finley Middle School is helping students understand that each of us has an important role to play in creating a school where there truly is a place for everyone.
This year's Student Ambassadors are as follows:
Charli Bond, Nova Camarata, Stefania Chanes-Flores, Melvin Cordero Rivas, Marco Garcia, Samantha Graber, Dylan Gilroy, Emily Hiscox, Nathan Holbreich, Victoria Honorato Garay, Weston Howell, Meredith LaCosta, Emily Lizama, Reagan Madden, Ariana Maragh, Landon Pacifico-Czerniecki, Jonathan Reina Palacios, Piper Savatta, Reese Sirhal, Andrea Sorrentino, Jeremiah Strickland, Abigail Torrusio-Quigley, and Nancy Ziegler.
