HHS Student Government Officers Set for New Year

Huntington High School students recently cast ballots for 2026/27 student government positions. The organization will be fully staffed and students will be completely represented when the new school year opens.

Elections for freshman class officers (current Finley eighth graders) are also on the horizon. The incoming Class of 2030 is expected to be well represented. Class faculty advisors and the school-wide student government advisors will be appointed by the Huntington School Board over the summer.

Among the first items on the new student government officers’ agenda will be assisting at the orientation program for incoming ninth graders as well as plans for the 2026 homecoming festivities.
