Huntington High School Recognizes Perfect Attendance

Huntington High School officials recognized students with perfect attendance during the second marking period at a breakfast celebration late last week that included administrators, faculty and support staff members.

Students listened to brief motivational remarks prior to being congratulated for “showing up” every day for ten weeks. There were bagels, cookies, milk, water and juice for the hungry and thirsty. “Stay engaged; keep striving and let’s finish strong,” students were told.

Principal Rochelle C. Brown and Assistant Principal Patricia Avelli both addressed the crowd, which filled the high school cafeteria. The honorees were told that “success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently.”
