Olivia Kaufman completed her time at Huntington High School with a flourish. An Advanced Placement Scholar, she plans to attend the University of Tampa and study public relations.
“The key to my success has been maintaining a strong work ethic while staying curious and open to learning,” Ms. Kaufman said. “I’ve always tried to challenge myself academically and take advantage of opportunities that allow me to grow. The support from friends, family, and teachers motivated me, I strive to do my best.”
The teenager earned varsity letters with the Blue Devil tennis and golf teams. She captured a Pride Award in business. Ms. Kaufman was inducted into multiple academic honor societies.
“What I’ve enjoyed most about high school is the sense of community,” Ms. Kaufman. “Building friendships and supporting each other through challenges has made the experience meaningful. I’ve appreciated the opportunity to grow alongside people who will have a lasting impact on my life.”
Popular with her classmates, Ms. Kaufman was highly regarded by her teachers, coaches and advisors, too. She compiled an academic grade average in excess of 96.
Ms. Kaufman used the past four years to effectively discern her interests, not only academic and careers ones, but those related to the type of college she wanted to attend while in pursuit of a degree. Tampa checked off all the important boxes.
