Free Virtual Event for Huntington High School Families

October 15, 2025

The Princeton Review is hosting a free virtual event for Huntington High School families entitled “AP Exams – The New Power Player in College Admissions.” The session is set for Wednesday, October 29 at 7 p.m.

AP Exams are standardized exams designed to measure how well you’ve mastered the content and skills of a specific AP course,” according to the College Board. “Most AP courses have an end-of-year exam, but a few courses have different ways to assess what has been learned.

Parents and students are invited to join Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review, for an engaging discussion on how AP exams are reshaping the college admissions landscape and what this means for students planning their post-secondary paths.

“Opportunities like this give our students and families valuable insight into how academic choices—like taking AP courses—can open doors in the college process,” said Dr. Ricky Papandrea, district director of school counseling and testing, K–12. “We’re grateful to The Princeton Review for providing our community with such relevant and timely information.”

Families are encouraged to register early to reserve their spot and learn how to make the most of the AP experience in today’s evolving admissions landscape.
