Huntington’s 16th Annual Film Festival Lineup Set

With 17 short films set to be screened, Huntington High School’s 16th Annual Film Festival at the Cinema Arts Centre on Park Avenue on Monday, May 19 at 7 p.m. is expected to be something very special.
Admission is free. No tickets are required. The general public is welcome to attend as are entire families. The festival’s films will run for a total of about 60 minutes.
“I am so excited to be hosting the 16th annual film festival,” said art teacher Heather Swan, who leads Huntington High School’s video arts program. “My filmmaking students worked so hard this year and produced so many quality films. We have a wonderful variety of films with a run time of a little over an hour. All family, friends and community members are welcome to come enjoy this free evening of entertainment.”

• “The Creation of Adam” – Art Movement by Owen Stevens
• “BRGRS” – Commercial by James Stenland
• “Living Red” – Director Inspired by Bladimir Cruz
• “Sinister Seven” – Movie Trailer from 2024 by Alex Tine
• “Prisma Colors” – Commercial by Anthony Aguilar, William Brooks, Kayvon Pittman and Kevin Reyes Vilorio
• “My Roommate’s a Pirate!” – Reality TV Show by Charles Stanforth
• “More than a Game” – Art Movement by James Stensland”
• “Heckshire Park” – Documentary by Bella Fazin
• “Extra” – Commercial by Anibella Fazin, Isabelle Gregorio, Matthew James, Stephen Spina and Grahm Sulinski
• “The Rock Whisperer” – Reality TV Show by Owen Stevens
• “Get Rich Quick” – YouTube Tutorial by James Stensland
• “Soldier’s Boots” – Art Movement by Charles Stanforth

“I’m really happy with how our projects came out this year,” said James Stensland, a Filmmaking II student. “We all worked super hard and put a lot of effort into them.”
The filmmakers will be available to discuss their work. Cinema Arts Centre refreshment stands will be open before, during and after the film screenings.
“The selection of projects to be presented this year at the festival are the best of the best, truly high quality,” said Charlie Stanforth, who is completing Filmmaking II.
