Senior Ludo Cattano Headed to UConn to Study Business
June 5, 2025
Ludo Cattano is finishing up his time at Huntington High School and turning his attention to what comes next. The senior plans to attend the University of Connecticut and study business.

“I committed to UConn because it fit all my interests,” Mr. Cattano said. “Perfect distance from home, a wide variety of programs, great campus and college feel and I have family in Connecticut. I am planning to study business at UConn. I am not sure yet what my ultimate career goal will be.”
The teenager was recognized as a Distinguished Senior earlier this spring after compiling an academic grade record of 90 or better during every semester of high school.
Mr. Cattano said that “working diligently and consistently meeting deadlines has been key to my academic success. Support from excellent teachers has also made a significant impact, helping understand complex material more effectively.”
A member of the debate club, mock trial team, several academic honor societies and the varsity badminton team, Mr. Cattano enjoyed participating in the extracurricular program.
He’s an energetic, articulate and achievement driven young man. Some of the most enjoyable aspects of high school have included chemistry and anthropology classes and then a good workout with the badminton team.
“Overall, I’ve been pleased with my years at Huntington UFSD,” Mr. Cattano said. “From Flower Hill School up to the high school, I’ve had many memorable experiences.”
