District Survey on Public Relations & Communication

April 30, 2025

Huntington UFSD is conducting a survey regarding its public relations efforts, including the district website and Facebook, Instagram and X pages and its other means of communicating with students, parents and community members.

“At Huntington Union Free School District, we are proud of the outstanding work our public relations team does to keep our community informed, connected, and engaged through our district website and social media platforms,” Deputy Superintendent Christopher J. Hender said. “Their dedication and creativity have been instrumental in sharing the great stories happening across our schools.

The district has been engaged in an update to its strategic plan and as a result of feedback it received during the process, communication was identified as a key area of focus.

“Aligned with our ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, we are seeking input from our valued stakeholders to ensure our communication efforts are as effective and accessible as possible,” Mr. Hender said. “While we believe our current platforms are strong, we also recognize the importance of regularly evaluating and enhancing how we connect with our students, families, staff, and community members.”

The feedback form can be accessed at this link: https://forms.gle/ayoqtGT7dadenZzZ8

“We invite you to share your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas for how we can make our website and social media channels even better,” Mr. Hender said. “Whether it’s related to the content you’d like to see more of, ease of navigation, accessibility, or overall user experience, your feedback is important to us.”

The deadline to submit a response is Friday, May 16. Please note, only one response per person will be accepted.
