The southern charm and warm weather also appeal to me and my interests. I look forward to South Carolina being my home for the next chapter in my life.”

“Throughout high school, I’ve been a member of the Blue Devil baseball and golf teams,” Mr. Addeo said. “Aside from athletics, I’m also involved in many different honor societies. I’m also very proud to have experienced the privilege of helping create and intern for the Huntington High School Blue Market and Blutique this year.”

Their classes sparked my passion for STEM and ultimately helped me decide on my future career aspirations. In addition, Mrs. [Paige] Furman’s Virtual Enterprise class helped me step foot into the business world. Outside of the classroom I had mentors in other areas. Within baseball and golf respectively, Mr. [David] Moriarty, Mr. [John] Romano and Mr. [Michael] Marinello have given me the support I needed to succeed in my athletic endeavors.”
As his long run through Huntington UFSD nears its end, the teenager is looking ahead to a new set of adventures. But Mr. Addeo will never forget the people and experiences who have helped make him who he is today.
“My experience has been very positive and I’ve had a great time,” Mr. Addeo said. “Throughout my time here, I’ve made countless connections with great teachers, coaches, teammates and life-long friends. My time spent within the Huntington community and the memories I’ve made are things I will carry with me into college and beyond.”
