Tickets Available for Booster Club’s $5,000 Raffle on July 4

The Huntington Booster Club’s annual membership raffle is set for July 4. The grand prize is $5,000 and tickets in the amount of $100 each are limited to 100. It’s not too late to secure a chance in this year’s raffle.

Tickets can be purchased through Venmo or via US Mail. To secure a ticket through Venmo use this address: @Huntington-BoosterClub. Those utilizing Venmo should include their name, cell phone number, e-mail address and the word “Membership” in the note section. Those purchasing a ticket will receive an e-mail confirmation.

For the US Mail option, send a check payable to Huntington Booster Club in the amount of $100 to PO Box 2294, Huntington, NY 11743.

Any proceeds from the raffle will be used by the Booster Club to support its grant programs for Blue Devil athletic teams spread across grades 7-12. The Booster Club most recently covered the costs associated with Huntington High School boys’ and girls’ track and field athletes participating in the Long Island Meet of Champions, which saw the Blue Devils turn in numerous gold, silver and bronze medal winning performances.

The Booster Club covered fees amounting to more than $600. The meet saw Huntington dominating a variety of events, including sprints, hurdles and relays.

The Huntington Booster Club’s executive board consists of Joe Mattio (president), Ed McGuinness (treasurer), Michele Deegan (membership/special projects), Tom Galvin (recording secretary), Trish Rongo/Patti Weber (special events), Maria Carnesi (grant coordinator) and Lauren Meagher/Julie Porzio (merchandise trailer coordinators).
