High-Fives for Flower Hill School’s February Stars
If Flower Hill Primary School students are tired of getting individual and collective pats on the back they aren’t saying anything. A group of 25 bright and cheery boys and girls was recently honors of Stars of the Month for February.
“Neither the faculty nor the students ever tire of recognizing a job well done,” Flower Hill Principal Marlon Small said. “Students are very aware of our Stars of the Month initiative and they work hard to be among the honorees. What is interesting is that they are also happy when one of their classmates is recognized.”
February’s award winners include Aliyah White, Matison Kindelmann, Jeffrey Andrade, Jean Carlos Murillo Marroquin, Sabrina Bijou, Violet Palacios, Gabriella Harrison, Kely Bonilla Ortez, Grace Callery, Victor Aviles, Cassandra Guevara Jandres, Ava McDonald, Heather Herman, Tatiana Quintanilla Yanes, Spencer Krull, Grace Gordon, Jeremy Allen, Xiomara Ticas-Chavez, Ashley Orue, Charles Fuller, Genasee Boles, Katy DeBellis, Thomas Girimonti, Alisson Ramos-Panameno and Giada LoPorto.
Teachers and staff members cited the students for their work ethic, helpfulness around classrooms, cooperation, respectful natures and the courtesy they have shown one another and the adults that work in the building.
The award recipients’ names were announced over Flower Hill’s public address system. Certificates were distributed to commemorate the youngsters’ achievement and a photo was snapped with Mr. Small joining the honorees.
