Flower Hill School Toasts January’s Stars

Marlon Small said its one of the best parts of his job. Flower Hill Primary School’s principal recognized a group of high energy youngsters as the building’s Stars of the Month for January, presenting each of the children with a certificate and posing for a photo with the group.

The students were recognized for displaying a long list of desirable qualities from working hard and cooperating with teachers and classmates to expressing a positive attitude in everything they do around the building.

The honorees include Sophia Curley, Kieran Fox, Alessandra Leotta, Alexander Colonna, Asani Ingram, Kayla Malone, Dylan McKean, Angeline Joseph, Keylen Gomez Quintanilla, Alexander Carter, Jr., Brady LaCosta, Isabella Palacios, Elizabeth Sheran, Connor Fox, Gianna Delva, Marcus Oromaner, Paige Wallace, Erika Treminio Reyes, Olivia Stone, Lily Tierney, Tess Calabria, Keylis Flores-Velasquez, Luis Umana Cabrera and Jannel Marroquin.

The youngsters were called down to Flower Hill’s main lobby and congratulated, presented with a certificate and assembled in the cafeteria before a wall mural for a commemorative photo with Mr. Small.

“It really is an honor to recognize these fine young people for their effort, enthusiasm and achievements throughout January,” Mr. Small said. “Our teachers and paraprofessional support staff members have been so impressed with these youngsters and with so many of Flower Hill’s students, who are all working hard to make this the best year of school they have ever had.”
