Blue Devil Marching Band to Host Pancake Breakfast
The Huntington High School Blue Devil marching band will host a delicious pancake breakfast at the Halesite Fire Department on Sunday, February 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend at whatever time is convenient.
The delicious breakfast will include a choice of orange, cranberry or apple juices; buttermilk or chocolate chip pancakes or scrambled eggs; pork or turkey sausage patties or a fresh fruit cocktail with strawberries, cantaloupe, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries and served with assorted yogurts and granola.
Admission to the breakfast is $10 at door for adults or $5 for children under eight years old. The annual event attracts dozens of families and alumni each year. It will include musical performances from several special guests and even crafts for kids. There will even be a raffle for an electric guitar. Entire families are invited to attend.
Proceeds from the breakfast will be devoted to Blue Devil marching band expenses.
