Flower Hill’s December Stars
Shine Bright

Flower Hill Primary School had some catching up to do after returning from a two-week winter recess. Principal Marlon Small announced the recipients of the building’s December Star Student Awards, warming the hearts of the honored youngsters and their parents.

“Five months into the school year, our students are working very hard with their teachers and all around the building,” Mr. Small said. “It is always delightful to recognize our star students each month and to commend them for a job well done.”

Among the students honored were Luke Lomler, Sophie Hoffman, Cassandra Guevara-Jandres, Yuliana Lopez, Gabriel Salinas, Keylin Anariba-Henriquez, William Kim, Ethan Lawless, Adalinda Monroy-Lopez, Olivia Stone, Xiomara Ticas-Chavez, Thomas Smith, Keegan Malone, Siena Levine, Estefany Moreira, Thomas Girimonti, Jordan Ross, Kimberly Panameno, Samantha Koepele, Aidan Carrello, Yorimilet Rodriquez, James Baldi and Sammy Mac Arner.

Each of the honorees was presented with a certificate to commemorate their achievement. The group was then assembled before a large mural in the school for a photo with Mr. Small.

Flower Hill teachers present Star Student Awards to recognize youngsters that have distinguished themselves in a variety of ways both in and out of the classroom.

“It is wonderful that our students strive so hard to give their best effort each day,” Mr. Small said. “They are genuinely happy to come to school and their energetic approach to learning shows it.”
