Class of 2013 Gifts Water Filtration Systems

Huntington High School's Class of 2013 gave the school two water filtration systems as its class gift. Class President Stephanie Rafuse said one of the systems will be placed in the gym lobby for students and guests to use and another will be installed in an area that can be accessed by faculty and support staff members.

"We ran through a lot of ideas," Ms. Rafuse said. "We looked into filtration systems. We all go to the YMCA gym and they have a terrific fountain there so it came about from that."

Ms. Rafuse announced the gift during Huntington's 152nd commencement exercises. A crowd of more than 2,000 attended the event.
