Huntington School Board Notes

Huntington School Board members have approved an overnight field trip for six students and one teacher to the 2012 New York State School Music Assn. All-State conference in Rochester from November 29 to December 2. Trustees took the action last Monday night during their meeting in the Jack Abrams School auditorium.

Six exceptional Huntington student-musicians, including Ashley Melgar, Collin Richardson, Brianne Bennett, Joshua Stickell, Matthew Beeby and Brianna Kirkland and district music teacher Christopher Scarnato will go on the trip.
