Many HHS Seniors to Study Art
in College
Quite a few members of Huntington High School's Class of 2012 intend to study fine or performing arts or a related field in college, according to a recent survey of members of the graduating class.
A total of 15 seniors said they will be studying some form of art in the fall. This year's group follows on the heels of 17 members of the Class of 2011 who indicated they would be studying and art related curriculum.
All of this year's art-bound seniors recently showcased their talents in the annual district art show or fashion show or in the spring drama club production. All three forums featured exceptional work or performances.
The following Huntington seniors said they will be pursuing either a college major or minor in some form of art:

• Rebecca Leach: SUNY Cobleskill - Fine Arts
• Alexandra Martinolich: Hunter College - Fine Arts Minor
• Roxana Moreira: Nassau Community College - General Art
• Andrew Ku: Vassar College - Music Minor
• Matt Petryk: Binghamton University - Music Minor
