Flower Hill Honors Students of the Month
A group of beaming Flower Hill Primary School students was honored for their exceptional efforts in classrooms and around the building during March. The youngsters received warm words of congratulations and encouragement from Principal Marlon Small, who presented them with snazzy certificates before they posed for a photo.
The March honorees included Natalia Stamatatos, Robbie Caputi, Karley Matthews, Charlie O’Rourke, John Lourenso, Shannon Lawlor, Ricardi Romero, Christian Hannah, Max Gordon, Jordan McCoy, Sara Minson, Ryan Buxton, Kara Lawlor, Julio Maikel Orue-Ruiz, Michael Colon, Jake Burns, Hannah Carmen, Fatima Yanes, Jessica Benitez, Alexa Sheridan, Charlie Ehrmann, Natalie Flores, Ifedayo Balogun and Jah’nae Elliot.
“Our March award winners are exceptional,” Mr. Small said. “They worked hard, helped others and set a good example for everyone to follow. Flower Hill is a better place because of them.”
The latest group of Student of the Month Award winners was nominated by their teachers. Their names were read aloud over the school’s public address system and faculty and staff went of their way to make the youngsters feel special. “They had a great day,” Mr. Small said.
