Huntington Class of 1969 Planning Reunion
When members of Huntington High School’s Class of 1969 received their diplomas, the New York Mets were still a few months short of being the Amazins’, America was still at war in Southeast Asia, Richard M. Nixon was still setting into the White House and man still hadn’t landed on the moon.
A lot has changed since that day in June 1969. Now members the Class of 1969 are laying the groundwork for a 40th reunion get-together. The event is planned for this summer. No details have been released. But, class members are encouraged to contact Cliff Abeles at chfields@aol.com to indicate their interest in attending the reunion or to receive more information as it becomes available.
