Blue Devil Boys’ Soccer Alumni Game on June 14
The Huntington High School boys’ soccer program is planning an alumni game on Saturday, June 14 at 10 a.m. on the synthetic turf field at Blue Devil Stadium. Huntington soccer alumni of all ages are invited to participate.
Blue Devil varsity head coach John Pagano has been busy contacting former players and spreading the word about the game. He hopes to reach as many alumni as possible. “This looks to be a great opportunity to revisit your soccer past and reunite with old friends and teammates,” Pagano wrote in an open letter to alumni.
The coach hopes this inaugural alumni game becomes an annual tradition. The Blue Devils have been increasingly competitive in recent years as Pagano has shaped the program into one that’s risen rapidly into one of Suffolk’s most successful teams.
