Huntington Alumni to Host Nov. 10 Dinner-Dance
The Huntington High School Alumni Association is putting the final touches on plans for its second annual dinner dance, which will be held Saturday, November 10 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Halesite Fire Department on New York Avenue.
Last year’s dinner dance was held in the Huntington Station VFW Hall on Pulaski Road. It honored retired district elementary principal and current School Heritage Museum curator Jack Abrams.
Tickets to the Nov. 10 affair, which organizers are calling “A Blast from the Past” are priced at $40 and can be reserved by sending an e-mail to the Alumni Association at hhsalumniassoc@yahoo.com. Proceeds from the night will benefit the Association’s scholarship fund.
Guests are invited to come dressed in casual attire or as they dressed during their years as Huntington High School students.
