School Directions

 

to Huntington High School

1. Long Island Expressway (495) to Route 110 (Exit 49N), Or Northern State Parkway to Route 110 (Exit 40N)
2. North on Route 110
3. Continue North past Walt Whitman Mall to Jericho Turnpike.
4. Left on Jericho Turnpike (West). Continue on Jericho to Oakwood Road on your right.
5. Turn right on Oakwood Road. Continue north on Oakwood. You will see the following:
- Stimson Junior High School - on the left
- Cross over railroad tracks
- Cross over Pulaski Road
- Jefferson Elementary School - on the left
6. Turn right at the next light. (Mckay Road). The entrance to Huntington High School is off McKay Road, to your left, as soon as you make the turn onto Mckay Road.

to Finley Jr. High School

1. Long Island Expressway (495) to Deer Park Avenue North. Or Northern State Parkway to Deer Park Avenue North (Exit 42)
2. North on Deer Park Avenue Left at fork
3. Continue across Jericho Tpk. Deer Park Avenue becomes Park Avenue.
4. Continue on Park Avenue to Rt. 25A Main Street
5. Right (east) on 25A to first traffic light--Bear right--Greenlawn Rd.
6. Finley is on right side of Greenlawn Road.

to Huntington Intermediate School

1. Long Island Expressway (495) to Route 110(Exit 49N), Or Northern State Parkway to Route 110 (40N).
2. Travel North on Route 110.
3. Continue on to North past Walt Whitman Mall, cross Jericho Tpk. (Rt.25) Route 110 is also known as New York Avenue north of Jericho Tpk.
4. Continue on Route 110. You will travel under a railroad trestle (Huntington Railroad Station). Make a left at the traffic light on to Railroad Street. Make first right on to Lowndes Avenue.
5. At the second stop sign turn left on to Tower Street. You will see a small parking lot on the left. Enter under the blue awning.

to Woodhull Intermediate School

1. Long Island Expressway (495) to Route 110, Huntington (Exit 49), Or Northern State Parkway to Route 110 Huntington (Exit 40)
2. Continue North on Route 110, past Walt Whitman Mall, cross Jericho Tpk. (Route 25) (Route 110 is also known as New York Avenue north of Jericho Tpk.)
3. Continue on Route 110. You will travel under a railroad trestle (Huntington Railroad Station)
4. Continue past first traffic light (Broadway)
5. At second traffic light, turn right Woodhull Road.
Landmarks:
- Walgreens
- Evergreen Baptist Church
- Touro College.
6. Woodhull School is approximately one mile off Route 110/New York Avenue on the left side of Woodhull Road.

to Flower Hill Primary School

1. Park Avenue to East Main Street (25A)
2. Turn right on 25A to Huntington Bay Road.
3. Left on Huntington Bay Road (traffic light at Huntington Bay Road can only turn left)
4. Right on Melody Lane.
5. Left on Flower Hill Road. School on right.

to Jefferson Primary School

1. Take Long Island Expressway (495) to Route 110 (Exit 49N) or Northern State Parkway to Route 110(Exit 40N).
2. North on 110.
3. Continue North past Walt Whitman Mall to Jericho Turnpike.
4. Left on Jericho Turnpike (west). Continue on Jericho to Oakwood Road on your right.
5. Turn right on Oakwood Road. Continue north on Oakwood. You will see the following:
- Stimson Junior High School - on the left
- Cross over railroad tracks
- Cross over Pulaski Road
- Jefferson Primary School - on the left

Southdown Primary School

1. Route 110N to 25A (Main Street). Make a left and the next corner is Wall Street. Turn right onto Wall Street.
2. Left onto Southdown Road. (Third traffic light)
3. Right onto Browns Road (Blinking light). School on corner of Browns Road & Southdown Road.

to Washington Primary School

1. Long Island Expressway (495) to Exit 51 (N231-Deer Park Avenue).
2. North at Deer Park Avenue. Left at the Fork.
3. Continue across Jericho Turnpike. Deer Park Avenue Becomes Park Avenue.
4. Continue on Park Avenue to Whitson Road. (1 block before Pulaski Rd.) Make a left on Whitson and the school is on the left.

 

to Huntington UFSD District Offices

1. Long Island Expressway (495) to Route 110(Exit 49N), Or Northern State Parkway to Route 110 (40N).
2. Travel North on Route 110.
3. Continue on to North past Walt Whitman Mall, cross Jericho Tpk. (Rt.25) Route 110 is also known as New York Avenue north of Jericho Tpk.
4. Continue on Route 110. You will travel under a railroad trestle (Huntington Railroad Station). Make a left at the traffic light on to Railroad Street. Make first right on to Lowndes Avenue.
