Finley Student Activities
Huntington offers a comprehensive program of student activities, including nearly 60 clubs for grades 4-12. Students can explore areas of interest ranging from the school newspaper to drama club productions, as well as engaging in community service related opportunities. These activities support the educational mission of the school district and can foster success in later life. Research has demonstrated that students who participate in after school activities are more likely to have higher grades, better attendance and fewer discipline referrals than those who do not participate. All students are welcome to join as many clubs as their schedule permits. The extracurricular program also allows for possible career exploration and many participants have pursued their interests on the college level and even professionally. A list of clubs for each level is provided on this website. Students are encouraged to meet with a club advisor for more information about a specific program.
