Instructional Technology at Huntington
Welcome to the Instructional Technology Department! Our mission is to provide assistance through staff development, instructional support, resources and opportunities that empower teachers and students to use technology as a tool for learning.
The chairperson of science and instructional technology will be available to facilitate the effective and successful integration of instructional technology into the curriculum. This is done in a collaborative environment with the faculty and staff and the coordinator working together to design and develop instructional materials using a variety of technological and pedagogical tools. Teachers can arrange for this support by calling 673-2078.
Technical support is provided by technicians Mike Tudisco, Noreen Heffernan and Hugo Guardado, who maintain the district’s network and upgrade the infrastructure. To bring technical or equipment related problems to the attention of a technician send an e-mail to the department at fixit@hufsd.edu. Include in it a description of the problem, your school and room number.
