Voter Registration Scheduled for Budget Vote and Trustee Election
Huntington School District residents who are not registered to vote in either a general or district election can register for the May 21 budget vote and trustee election on Thursday, May 15 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the district's administrative offices located in Jack Abrams School at 50 Tower Street in Huntington Station.
Qualified voters seeking to register must present themselves personally to the Board of Registration. To be eligible to register, individuals must be a United States citizen, have resided in the district for at least 30 days and be at least 18 years old.
Persons who have been previously registered in the district and have voted in a district election conducted during the four calendar years running from 2009 through 2012 or who are registered and qualified to vote in a general election need not register again to vote in the May 21 budget vote and trustee election.
