An Evening of Fashion & Fun
on April 11
Spring will start with a burst of excitement at a fashion show sponsored by the Huntington High School and J. Taylor Finley Middle School PTAs at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on Thursday, April 11. More than two dozen faculty members from the two schools are expected to model clothes.
"Fashion Starz" will feature displays of fine fashions, dining, dancing and prize drawings. Faculty will model fashions from Marsh's of Huntington and Pink Link. A group of fashion students will be modeling their own creations. Another set of seniors will show-off tuxedoes from Lester's and prom gowns from Francine's Fashion Boutique.
The event will run from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $50. A delicious meal sure to satisfy everyone's appetite will be served. There will be a cash bar.
To obtain tickets send a check payable to the Finley PTA or Huntington HS PTSA to Laurene Napurano (23 Cameron Drive, Huntington, NY 11743) or drop it off in a sealed envelope for the PTA at either Finley or Huntington High School. An RSVP by April 5 is required.
Two guest models are also expected to make appearances during the show. Students from the high school fashion program will exhibit their designs throughout the Crest Hollow during the evening.
Last year's fashion show resulted in another memorable evening that is still being talked about by participants. Organizers claim this years' experience will be even better.
