SEPTA's Gala Sunset and Sounds
on the Bay

The Huntington Special Education PTA will host a fundraising event on Saturday, May 18 at The Head of the Bay Club in Huntington Bay at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $75.

The event will feature a refreshment hour, extravagant buffet dinner, live auction and raffle baskets and live music by The Willie Steel Band. There will be plenty of dancing, too. A thoroughly enjoyable evening seems to be assured, according to organizers

SEPTA is a district-wide organization devoted to the promotion of quality learning experiences for Huntington students, while recognizing each child's learning differences.

Past annual fundraising dinners have helped SEPTA to sponsor a series of initiatives including the purchase of computer technology for students with autism, speech and language materials along with funding for a summer bike camp, field trips and games and supplies for social skills clubs. SEPTA also awards two annual scholarships for Huntington seniors.

The Head of the Bay Club, also known simply as The Bay Club, is located on the water at 191 Bay Road. Those planning to attend the May 18 event are asked to RSVP by May 3.

To order tickets send a check payable to Huntington SEPTA to: SEPTA, 50 Tower Street, Huntington Station, New York 11746.
