The Stars of Flower Hill School
They are the latest stars of Flower Hill Primary School. A group of energetic, enterprising and enthusiastic boys and girls who love learning new things and being helpful and responsible in their classrooms and around the building.
Flower Hill's faculty selected an outstanding set of Star students for the month of January, according to Principal Marlon Small. "These young people are making the most of their school days, working hard, cooperating with their teachers and classmates and enjoying our educational program."
Recognized as Star students for January were Ian Schneider, Thomas Smith, Tess Markotsis, Marcus Oromaner, Sebastian Romero, Kimberly Panameno, Lily Tierney, Juliana Dentico, Luke LaGrone, Sol Rodriguez-Arevalo, Kaci McDonald, Izabella Cuji, Jeffrey Garcia-Cabrera, Richard Munch, Wilson Gonzalez-Garcia, Katie Browne, Francesca Stamatatos, Taraina Augustin, Amari Huitt-May, Hannah Roberts, Allison Quinn, Danny Stevens, Grace McKean, Christopher Segreti and Carly Cogan.
The honored students were given certificates after their names were announced over the school's public address system. They were then assembled for a commemorative photo.
"It is always a pleasure to recognize students who are setting such a fine example for their classmates," Mr. Small said.
