PTA Fashion Show Tickets Selling Fast
An evening of dinner, dancing and fine fashions sounds like welcome relief after a harsh winter. Tickets sales are strong for the Huntington High School-J. Taylor Finley Middle PTAs spring fashion show at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Thursday, April 11.
Several dozen teachers and a couple of special guests, along with 27 seniors will model clothes for the crowd. "Fashion Starz" will feature fine fashions from Marsh's of Huntington and Pink Link. Huntington High School fashion program students will also model some of their own designs.
A group of nine senior boys will be on hand to model tuxedoes from Lester's and a set of high school girls will show-off prom gowns from Francine's Fashion Boutique.
The menu will consist of a choice of chicken and fish dishes, fresh vegetables and mouth-watering desserts. Bon Bons Chocolatier is providing a special surprise to the seniors involved in the show. Sweeties Candy Cottage is handling the favors.
The event will run from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $50 through April 8. To reserve a seat send a check payable to either the Finley PTA or Huntington HS PTSA to Laurene Napurano (23 Cameron Drive, Huntington, NY 11743) or drop it off in a sealed envelope for the PTA at either Finley or Huntington High School.
Joe Iavaronne of Diamond Dreams will serve as the evening's DJ. He's been told to keep the atmosphere lively and the dance floor filled. Guests will vie for 40 raffle baskets and a special grand prize.
