Parent University in Session on October 29

The Huntington School District's Parent University will hold a session on the Dignity Act for All Students on Monday, October 29 in the J. Taylor Finley Middle School auditorium from 7-8:30 p.m.

Sponsored by Huntington's District-wide Shared Decision Making Advisory Committee and the Huntington PTA Council, this session of Parent University will take the form of an informative K-12 discussion of the Dignity Act, a state law which all districts were required to adopt as a policy.

District Directors Joan R. Fretz and Georgia D. McCarthy will lead the evening's discussion, which will include a panel of district social workers and psychologists. There will also be a question and answer segment.
