Washington Ways Awards Announced

The Washington Primary School community celebrated some of its tops students late last week by recognizing the October/November recipients of the Washington Ways Award.

The youngsters were honored for their exceptional attitude and effort toward their school work and the responsibility they've displayed in-and-out of the classroom and around the building.

The honorees included Maggie O'Toole, Katie Wimmer, Josephine Sullivan, Justin Villatora, Natalie Hering, Lindsay Avila, Estefany, Andrew Castillo, Justine Williams, Caroline McGreevy, Jennifer Velasquez, Aisy Franciscovich, Christopher Matthews, Enoc Galeas, Jr., Nathali Ulloa, Xiara Suarez, April Swanson, Dianna Harris, Brandy Romero, Ashley Visser and Chloe Buffone.

The classes of first grade teacher Miriam Engle and fourth grade teacher Susan Llanes were also recognized with special awards for their overall devotion to excellence.

"It is absolutely delightful to honor these outstanding boy and girls for the fine work they have been doing in their classes and throughout Washington School each day," Principal Marsha Neville said.
