Zumba for a Cause at
Jack Abrams School

The Washington Primary School community, in cooperation with the Huntington High School student government, will host Zumba for a Cause this Friday (Dec. 7) evening in the Jack Abrams School gym from 7-9 p.m. Children and adults are welcome to attend.

The event will benefit a Washington fourth grader who is undergoing treatment for brain cancer. Students under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. The evening will include an hour of Zumba along with a Chinese auction, bracelets for the cause, tropical smoothies and plenty of fun.

Participants should wear sneakers and clothing that will allow plenty of moving and sweating! Admission is $10, payable at the door. Checks can be made payable to HHS Student Government.

Monies raised will be used to help the Washington fourth grader’s family with medical and living expenses while the youngster undergoes treatment. Excitement has been building at the school as teachers, students, parents and family members get ready to Zumba for a Cause.
