New Huntington Curriculum Guide for 2011-12 Now Available
A comprehensive guide to Huntington High School courses, complete with descriptions, requirements and prerequisites for classes, is now available to students and parents on the district's website (www.hufsd.edu) or in the guidance office at the school. The "must have" publication also includes information about various academic and co-curricular programs and activities.
The guide is useful for learning more about available course offerings and planning schedules for next year. It also lists graduation requirements, district academic and school policies and an assortment of practical sections concerning items such as how to request a change in course level, early release, course load, schedule change and other requirements.
There are separate sections on vocational education, special programs and student activities. The publication is also helpful for long term planning. "Every student and parent should obtain a copy to learn more about the outstanding program that is available at Huntington High School," Superintendent John J. Finello said.
Call the guidance office at 673-2101 for more information or log onto the district website.
