SEPTA Offers Bike Clinic on April 30
Are you a parent with a son or daughter who is having difficulty transitioning from a bike with training wheels to one without them? If so, the two-hour SEPTA bike clinic on Saturday, April 30 from 12 noon – 2 p.m. at J. Taylor Finley Middle School is for you.
SEPTA, the Huntington School District's Special Education Parent Teacher Assn., received support for the program from K.I.D.S. (Kids In Developmental Sports) Plus, Inc.
Participants should bring their own bike and bike helmet, along with knee and elbow pads. Training wheels should be removed from the bike prior to the clinic. Parents and guardians are required to stay during the entire program. In the case of rain, the program will be offered on Sunday, May 1
SEPTA is looking for additional volunteers to help on the day of the clinic. The workshop is open to the children of SEPTA members. Registration is required. Call Kim Scappaticci at (631) 223-6825 for more information.
