Tickets Available for Huntington Booster Club Dinner at Crab Meadow
Tickets are available for a dinner the Huntington Booster Club is throwing in honor of Karen Fischer and Todd Jamison. The affair will be held on Wednesday, October 13th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at The View Restaurant at the Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport.
Tickets are priced at $100 for the dinner which will pay tribute to Ms. Fischer, who has been a Blue Devil athletic star and Huntington physical education teacher and coach and Mr. Jamison, who is also a past Huntington sports great and current two-sport coach.
Proceeds from the day will go toward the Booster Club's efforts to provide annual scholarships, purchase equipment, support summer camps and a number of related programs.
The dinner will be preceded by the Booster Club's annual golf tournament, which will begin with check-in, lunch and practice on the driving range from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., when a shotgun start will kick-off the action. The fee for individual golfers is $250 (Foursome - $1,000). The golf fee includes the dinner, too.
