Revised Calendar Approved
Huntington School Board members have approved a revised district calendar for 2010/11. The lone modification to an earlier version involves the changing of a contingency day from May 31, 2011 to April 25. Schools will be closed that day unless it is needed to make-up missed classes due to a snow day or some other type of inclement weather.
Assistant Superintendent Kenneth A. Card, Jr. pointed out that the state science performance test for grades four and eight is scheduled for May 31. So, trustees unanimously approved a revision to the calendar. The new version is posted on the district’s website at www.hufsd.edu.
