D’Esposito to be Featured
Solo Violinist
Joseph D’Esposito, a Huntington High School junior, will be a featured solo violinist at the Northport Symphony concert on Friday, May 21 at 8 p.m. at East Northport Middle School.
“Joe is an extraordinary violinist who is great at classical and alternative styles,” said Lisa Leonardi, the orchestra director at Huntington High School. “Last year he improvised with my chamber orchestra when we performed ‘Take the A Train’ and he rocked the house. He will be playing the Bach E major violin concerto with the Northport Symphony.”
The program will feature Mozart and Schubert selections. The concert is free and open to the public. East Northport Middle School is located at 1075 Fifth Avenue in East Northport, one-quarter mile east of Larkfield Road.
Ms. Leonardi will be the concertmaster at the event.
