Jacoby Throws Her Third No-No
Samantha Jacoby has obviously found her groove, throwing her third no-hitter of the season. This time the Huntington High School senior blanked visiting Comsewogue, 5-0, striking out 16 batters and allowing only one Warrior to reach base.
Jacoby, who threw a perfect game against Rocky Point one week earlier, was sensational. A fourth inning hit batsman was the only blemish for the sensational Jacoby.
Talented Huntington seventh grader Ellyn Byrnes banged out a pair of hits and junior Corina Antonucci drove in a pair of runs to pace the Blue Devil offense.
