Schools to be Open for Make-up Days
After getting three days off due to snow this winter, Huntington School District students will be in attendance on Monday, April 5 and Thursday and Friday, May 27-28 to make-up for the missed classroom time.
Schools were closed on February 10-11 and February 26 after winter storms blanketed the area with snow. The three make-up days are needed to meet state requirements for 180 days of instruction.
The three make-up days will be regular school days in every way, included bus transportation, cafeteria services and all academic and extra-curricular activities.
