Goldstein Scores in
State Swimming Meet
Huntington sophomore Jake Goldstein turned in a point-scoring performance in two events in last weekend’s state swimming championships at Erie Community College in Buffalo.
Goldstein finished 10th in the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 1:58.95 and was 16th in 100-yard breaststroke in 1:00.72. The pair of performances earned the Section XI team a combined eight points in the standings.
With two trips to the state finals already under belt and has two years of eligibility remaining, Goldstein appears well-positioned for the future.
