Huntington School Nurse
Passes Away
Viloa Pillot, who worked as a nurse in the Huntington School District for 35 years, has passed away. She was 100 years old.
Ms. Pillot was assigned to Nathan Hale School from September 1, 1938 to June 1949 before moving over to Lincoln Elementary School where she worked from 1949 to 1956. She split time between Village Green Elementary School and Nathan Hale School from 1956 until her retirement on June 30, 1973 which coincided with the closing of Village Green.
At the time of Ms. Pillot’s death, she was residing in Pennsylvania. She would have turned 101 later this month.
