2010 Huntington Football Schedule
While the fall football season is still off in the distance, Section XI has posted varsity schedules on its website (www.sectionxi.org). The Huntington Blue Devils will kick-off the 2010 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 11 at Sayville at 7 p.m.
The regular season will consist of eight games, split equally between home and away contests:
• Friday, Sept. 11 Huntington at Sayville 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 16 Huntington at Harborfields 3:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 25 Kings Park at Huntington 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 2 Miller Place at Huntington 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 9 Huntington at Deer Park 2 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 15 Huntington at Eastport-South Manor 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 23 East Hampton at Huntington 2 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 30 Islip at Huntington 1:30 p.m.
The Blue Devils’ game against East Hampton on October 23 will be the centerpiece of Huntington High School’s Homecoming Day activities. It will include the crowning of the Homecoming king and queen during half-time festivities. A morning parade through Huntington village will precede the football game. An evening dance for students is also planned. Parade floats will be constructed at the school on Friday night, October 22.
