Honors Ensemble Concert Moved to 8 p.m. on April 28
Bowing to a crush of interscholastic athletic games, the Huntington High School honors ensemble concert on Wednesday, April 28 will begin at 8 p.m. rather than 7:30 p.m. as had originally been planned.
Joan R. Fretz, district director of fine and performing arts said there are seven athletic games on April 28 so music faculty members decided to move back the concert’s starting time “in order to provide time for the students to return from their away games.”
The concert, which is open to the public, will feature the school’s jazz ensemble, new accapella choir, chamber orchestra and wind ensemble.
No tickets are required. Admission is free.
