School Board to Host Presentations by Directors
Huntington School District department directors will make a series of presentations about academic programs and progress within their specific disciplines beginning Dec. 7 and continuing through May 10, 2010. The sessions will occur during a portion of regularly scheduled public School Board meetings on each of the dates.
The presentation schedule includes:
• Dec. 7 - Joseph Leavy - director of humanities
• Jan. 4 - David Casamento – director of science and instructional technology
• Jan. 25 - Georgia McCarthy - director of physical education, health and athletics
• Feb. 8 - Carmen Kasper - director of foreign language, ESL and bilingual programs
• May 10 - Joan Fretz - director of fine and performing arts
