Festive Holiday Concert
Planned for Dec. 22
This year’s Huntington High School holiday concert promises to be a festive affair. A large crowd is expected to attend the free Dec. 22nd event, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are not required.
The evening will feature the orchestra and choral programs. “We are excited to feature the work of our new choral director, Veronica Escamilla in her debut performances with the chamber choir and concert choir,” said Joan R. Fretz, district director of fine and performing arts. The full orchestra, including the concert and symphony orchestras will also perform under the direction of Lisa Leonardi.
As is tradition, the finale will be the “Hallelujah” chorus from Handel’s Messiah. All alumni in attendance are invited to join current high school students for the finale.
